OPPS!!!!

Today Seth was canging Elijah's diper while I was taking a short nap. Seth asksme from the other room, "where is the diper rash cream?" I told him is was downstairs. I then herd a strange chain of noises...first seth runing down stairs, then Elijah starting to scream from upstairs, Edgar barking and runing from the babies roon to the stairs, then seth runing up the stairs. "Oh buddy!!!! Im so sorry!!!!!!!!" at this point i get up to see what in the world is happening. I get the hole 5 steps from my room to the baby's room just in time to see the end of a pee arch landing on Elijah's face!
Needless to say...it took us a while to get Elijah to stop screaming. Finally we gave him a bottle even though he just finished eating. He took about 5 swallows and was done. We figured some pee must have gotten in his mouth and he just wanted the taste out! :-)
He must have wanted to get back at us...because next time we changed his diper that day he peed all over Krista! :-) He has yet to pee on me though!

Elijah's First Smile

Today we got blessed with Elijah's first smile (the real kind not the ones caused by gas). He has a huge smile, and he has been blessed with cheeks like mine so when he REALLY smiles his eyes disappear! The Two times He smiled today were both related to his best bud Edgar. The first time I was holding him and seth and I were both making faces at him. We noticed he had a hair on his lip (one of Edgar's of corse! They are everywhere...silly sheding dog!) I went to take it off his lip and he gave us the hugest smile ever!!!!

I spent the rest of the day trying to get Elijah to smile agian. HE saved his Second smile for right before bed. I was readign him a book and he was getting a litte fussy. Edgar came over and Gave Elijah kisses on his feet an belly. Well, that did it! Elijah loved it and smilled agian. He is really interested in Edgar. I think they will be great friends, and Edgar cant wait till he can throw all the toys he brings Elijah so they can play fetch!!! :-)
